Not Human Episode Seven

             Episode Seven
 One Saturday morning,both Rose and I were sitted at The hall watching tv when we noticed our gateman open the gates for a car to enter our compound. I checked it out and it was mum's. I walked out to meet her just in time to notice the young later sitted in the front passengers seat close to her. "This must be the help" I thought as I waited patiently for ma mum to park well for them both to alight.
    After she parked and they were down Atu helped the gal to offload her bags from the trunk of the car before mum introduced her to me. "Erhmm,where is ur wife?"Mum asked. "Inside doing the usual"I replied. "And wat is that?"She asked. I paused and sighed before I responded "Nothing". My reply eased out a short giggle from the village gal mum had brought along with her. And for the first time I looked at her properly. Well she didn't look bad,dark skinned with pink lower lips and huge bulky eyes. She wore a dress which I believe was meant for someone thrice her size. Her appearance was that of a typical village gal. But she was fluent in English than most city gals I knew. And she found anything I said rather amusing.Mum said she was only 19 but she looked a bit matured than that to me.
     Mum introduced her as Akosua. And was sure Rose would love her cause she was very hard working. It was as if she didn't care if I like her or not,all she thought of was Rose's approval of Akos. Rose was excited to see that her help had arrived and was quick to assign and keep her busy with chores after mum introduced Akos to her and advised her. Akos was hard working. And I quickly grew fond of her.
    I bought  her gifts and new clothes whenever I closed from work and this had begun to piss Rose off. She didn't tAke long in suspecting I was having an affair with Akos,which I wasn't. And begun maltreating her.
