     Rodney then heard his phone ring. He checked and it was his dad. He asked where Rodney was and if he was bringing Jessy around. Rodney,eyes filled tears waiting to leak down his cheeks,told his dad what had happened. Mr Ankrah grew furious and asked for the current location of his son. Rodney told him he was at East Legon and was about to go to the hospital Ruby had been admitted in. Mr Ankrah then told Rodney he would meet him there with Ivy and then hanged up. Rodney rushed to the hospital. The moment he entered Ruby's ward,she forced herself out of her bed and hugged Rodney tight in tears. Rodney tried to console her,placing her head on his shoulder and whispering to her "We will find them.Jessy will be alright". Ruby busted into uncontrollable tears the more when she heard that. Rodney then brushed his hands through her hair and whispered words into her ears to console her. Everyone present in the ward,especially Ruby's mum felt bad for her.
       Not long afterwards,Mr Ankrah walked into Ruby's ward with Ivy. He took turns with Ivy as they hugged Ruby and shook hands with her family members. Mr Ankrah and Mr Danso together with Mrs Danso (Ruby's mum) walked out of the ward to discuss among themselves what to do. Ruby,went back into her bed still in tears with Rodney by her side,brushing his hands through her hair. Suddenly,her phone begun to ring. She checked and it was Kwame. "It's him" Ruby said as she picked the call quickly. "Hello baby" Kwame said. "Where is my daughter?" Ruby asked furiously. "Calm down honey. Calm down. Our daughter is with me,her daddy" Kwame smiled. "Bring her to me. Bring her to me now. You have no right to keep her with you" Ruby replied angrily. "What is that suppose to mean you ungrateful woman?...I have every right to her as much as you do" Kwame said. "No you don't. You lost those rights the second you cheated and laid those filthy hands of yours on me" Ruby replied. "Can you hear yourself speak?" Kwame asked. "BRING BACK MY DAUGHTER YOU KIDNAPPER" Ruby screamed,causing her parents and Mr Ankrah to rush into her ward. "Kidnapper?Hahaha.Are you serious?How can I kidnapp my own daughter?" Kwame laughed.
      Mr Danso then snatched the phone from Ruby and warned Kwame. "Herh Mr Man. If you don't bring my grandchild back in the next 40minutes,you would regret ever knowing me" Mr Danso warned. "Fuck off you old fool. You are just a barking dog. You can't do nothing. Do your worst. Your worst isn't even close to the type of shit I've seen growing up." Kwame replied angrily. Ruby then asked her dad to let her speak to him. Her dad,hesitantly obliged. But he gave her the phone anyways. "Kwame...please What do you want? How much?Name your price." Ruby begged. "I WANT TO STILL BE THE FATHER OF MY DAUGHTER" Kwame screamed. "Ok...ok,come around and let's discuss it properly like matured adults" Ruby replied. "Hahaha...hahaha what do you take me for? Am not a kid woman. Am not coming anywhere and even if I did,there is nothing you can do to me because I am the legal father of Jessy" Kwame arrogantly said. Rodney,getting impatient asked Ruby to let him speak with Kwame. Ruby didn't think it was a great idea but she gave her phone to him anyway.
        "Hello Kwame" Rodney said. "Who is this?" Kwame asked. "Am...Ro...Am the donor" Rodney replied. "Ohhhhh so you are the reason why we are all in this fucked up situation huh?" Kwame asked. "Am not responsible for anything. You are....if you hadn't cheated,we would all be home living peacefully by now" Rodney replied. "Shut up....shut up. What's that your name again? Maxwell or so. It's Maxwell right?" Kwame asked. "Oh so you remember the name of your donor huh?" Rodney asked. "Hell yea I do. I have your name and number but I haven't really bothered to check up on you cause you are nothing of importance to me" Kwame replied arrogantly.
