The Donor Episode Seven

         Episode Seven
      Rodney starred at his phone's screen whiles it displayed an incoming call from Asabea. He impatiently waited for the ringing time to be exhausted, and then switched his phone off whiles he chuckled ruthlessly. The day was almost over and he hadn't come up with the amount he needed to add to his fees.
       He stood thinkin for a minute about how he was goin to come up with the money. Then suddenly his mind triggered upon what Kobby had discussed with him earlier. Deep down he felt it was wrong, he didn't want to do it but that was the only option left. "At least its better than goin in for blood money" He thought, whiles he slowly walked along a path which lead towards Kobby's hostel.
        Contemplating on whether or whether not to do it whiles he walked, he slowly made it to Kobby's hostel. He knocked on Kobby's door a few times before Kobby answered and signalled him to come in. Bowing his head and unable to look Kobby in his eyes he said "Well...well man I took a stroll down campus to clear ma head and think about what we discussed. And...and I think that's the only option I have at the moment. So...I...I...I...I'll do it". "You'll do what?" Kobby smiled. "You want me to say it loud abi" Rodney replied, growing a bit angry. "Wow man calm down, ahh-baahhh....I was just pulling your leg small.". "It's not funny Kobby....anyway when am I goin to this?" Rodney asked. "Next week" Kobby replied. "NEXT WEEK?!!!" Rodney screamed.
     "Yea man,I'll have to book an appointment with the doctor who has been doin mine for me. So he will find a great recipient willing to pay good money for your white gold." Kobby replied. "But I urgently need this money man,I need to register for this sem asap" Rodney said. "Come on big man....registration ends next week,so what's the hustle. You can crush here in ma hostel with me for the mean time. So when everything is done and u have your money you can go and register and go to your hostel.Next week Monday norr my doctor will call u in to donate your seed after I call him tomorrow to book an appointment for you. So feel free man" Kobby smiled. With that being said,Rodney calmed down a bit and agreed to Kobby's suggestion.
      Meanwhile,Ruby and Kwame were involved in a quarrel over Kwame's mum's behaviour. Ruby boldly told Kwame she knows she is a woman with a fertile womb so he should warn his mum to watch her words. Kwame took that as an insult and rather warned Ruby to choose her words carefully. Their tempers were so high and their voices were so amplified that the neighbours in the houses close by could hear them argue. Out of the blues and anger, Kwame being a doctor,suggested they take a test the next morning, And warned that if he found out Ruby was barren or the reason behind the delay in them giving birth, he would chase her out of their matrimonial home with a well sharpened cutlass.
