    Minutes after Rodney's registration,Asabea called. This time around Rodney answered her call the moment he noticed it was her. And after every pleasantries between the two, Asabea asked him why he had been avoiding her calls. "Bae,I had been busy searching for the remaining amount to add to my fees,sorry if I made you feel a bit neglected and avoided,especially after your abortion.Am sorry dear" Rodney apologized.
"Oh...Oh ok,apology accepted......Ermmm....I have something to tell you" Asabea said. "What?I hope nothing is wrong with you?" Rodney asked.
     "Who?me...Am cool...I mean come on...Am fine Rodney...it's...it's just,I...I...have something to tell you.Something I've done....Something I regret doing" Asabea replied. "Are you talking about the abortion?" Rodney asked. "No...no...well yes...yes and no" Asabea anxiously replied. "Huh?which is which?Yes or no...and why do you sound anxious?" Rodney asked. "Rodney,Am about to tell you something which might change our lives forever. Not just that....but our relationship" Asabea replied. "Asabea...you are beginning to scare me....what...what's wrong?" Rodney worriedly asked.
        "I...well...I need you to promise me....that no matter what it is that i say to u, u wouldn't get mad" Asabea said. "Do I have to?" Rodney asked. "Yes...yes you have to" Asabea responded. "Ok,you have my word. I promise" Rodney replied. "Ok....well....well I kind of...Rodney I kind of lied to you about my abortion" Asabea whispered. "YOU WHAT?!!!!" Rodney screamed. "Didnt you go through with it?" He asked. "Ermmm...I don't know how to explain this to you cause ...cause,I was never pregnant in the first place. I lied to you so I could use the money to get a new smartphone" Asabea replied,anxiously. There was absolute silence for a few seconds between the two before Asabea asked Rodney to say something.
      "What...what do you want me to say?I can't believe it...I can't believe you lied to me just to get a new smartphone. I trusted you. I loved you. I never expected this from you. How...how could you...HOW COULD YOU?YOU WORTHLESS PEACE OF WASTE. YOU...DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE DONE,DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE MADE ME TO DO? ASABEA" Rodney said,angrily in an unstable tone. "Baby calm down please,am sorry. I truly am" Asabea begged. Rodney didn't say anything back. He was shocked and angry. He quickly hanged up on Asabea,dropped his phone and placed his arms on his head. "What have I done?what kind of mess has this witch gotten me into?" Rodney thought to himself,whiles he looked down on the ground steadily as if he was looking for something he dropped.
      "I can't believe I allowed Asabea to trick me" Rodney thought to himself with regrets. He didn't know what to do. He so much wanted to go to Asabea's hostel to do something bad to her.But he knew it was against the rules of his school to abuse a fellow student,espercially a female one. He quickly picked his phone up and rushed to Kobby's hostel to tell him about it. Kobby upon hearing Asabea's confession suggested they went over to her hostel to discipline her. But Rodney spoke against it and told Kobby to come up with another way they could deal with her,which didn't include violent.
     Rodney still couldn't believe he had been played by Asabea so easily. He felt fooled and hurted, but for some reasons, he still loved her.
