                Episode Twenty Two
       "Overseas?where in particular?" Mr Ankrah asked. "United States sir" Titus replied. "Oh ok,that's good,that's good. And if I may ask,do you have any relatives here in Ghana?" Mr Ankrah asked. "Yes please. My mum and some members of my family are in this country" Titus replied. "If I may ask too,are you sure you don't have a wife and kids overseas?" Rodney asked. "Ahhh Rodney" Ivy screamed. "What?it's a harmless question" Rodney replied. "Its ok dear,its an offenseless question from your brother,let me answer him" Titus smiled. "Well no,I don't have any family elsewhere. And also,am not a believer in polygamous marriages. Am a Christian and its against my religion." Titus continued.
      "Well spoken gentleman. As you can see,Ivy is the lady of this house. Since her mother passed she has been the lady of this house and she is very precious to our hearts that is why we are asking you all this questions" Mr Ankrah explained. Mr Ankrah then moved on to ask Titus more questions,to which he answered convincingly. It was almost 6pm in no time,and Titus together with Ivy announced their intentions to take their leave. Mr Ankrah and his son saw them off to Titus's car and bid them goodbye as they drove off. The following day,Sunday,after church service, Rodney called to ask Ruby if he could come over and possibly meet Kwame as she said. Ruby was more than excited to tell him he could come. Rodney quickly changed his clothes,wore something a bit more casual and drove of to Ruby's place. Immediately his car entered the compound, Jessy rushed out and the moment he alighted from the car she rushed to hug him tight. She then held him by His hand and pulled him inside.
       Ruby smiled when she saw Rodney and hugged him too. She then took him to the hall and served him with some soft drinks and told him Kwame was taking a shower and would be done in a few minutes. Ruby then sat in a couch opposite to that of Rodney's and begun to converse with him. Jessy sat beside Rodney whiles they conversed. And minutes later, Kwame walked in. The moment Rodney's eyes met with his,he screamed "TITUS?!!!!". Kwame froze and swallowed hard. Ruby got up and with a surprised look and asked "What's wrong? Do...do you two know each other?". Rodney angrily starred at Kwame,whom he knew as Titus,the man who wants to marry his sister. Rodney turned at Jessy and then turned to face Ruby. "Kwame....Rodney What is wrong? Ruby worriedly asked. Rodney noticed how disturbed and worried Ruby was. And he didn't want to do or say things that might hurt her. So he faked a smile and said "Doctor Titus...wow...I...I didn't know this was your family. Long time no see man". Kwame,dumbfounded,quickly did his best to play along. "Yea..yea man...Long time no see. This...this is my...you know...family. That's my wife Ruby and...and my daughter Jessy" Kwame replied. "Oh I see" Rodney said.
    Ruby smiled and said "Wow,I can't believe you two know each other. This is great". "I know right" Kwame nervously replied. Rodney intentionally checked the time on his watch and screamed "WOW!!!" . "Why?what's it?" Ruby asked. Starring at Kwame,Rodney replied "I have to take my sister to her soon to be husband's house cause her car wouldn't start this morning.So I have to go now". "What?You just got here" Ruby said. "Yea,but I really have to go. Am sorry yea? I hope Kwame won't be leaving the country anytime soon,will you?Ti-Tus" Rodney asked,stressing and stretching the name Titus. "Yea...yea Sure man. Come on,family first man. Go take your sister to her man's house. I'll be here through out the month so no problem." Kwame replied,nervously. "Awww" Ruby cried. "Dont worry,I'll visit some other time" Rodney smiled. Ruby and Jessy saw him off. And as he drove off he waved at them and turned his head towards the door to the entrance of the hall to give Kwame a deadly glance as if to warn him that it wasn't over.
