Not Human Episode Seventeen

                  Episode Seventeen
I forced maself back in bed,and waited for her return. I fell asleep whiles I waited and woke up few hours later. I found ma breakfast served. But I wasn't in the mood to eat. All I wanted was to see Akosua's face. Well it turned out I was going to wait all day cause I somehow felt like she was avoiding me. Cause instead of Akos coming to find out if I was done with ma meal as she normally did,Rahmat was da one who showed up. She came three times to check. And anytime I asked her of the where about of Akos she just would come up with a lame excuse.
       The day passed by without me seeing Akos. I couldn't sleep that night cause I felt I had wronged her in a way. "Could it be something I said?or is it cause I slept with her?. Is she afraid of me or what.I need to find out" I thought as I laid in bed. Slowly the next morning arrived and to ma surprise Akos came to fetch me for a treatment with Baba. "Hey I didn't see u the whole of yesterday.what's up? I asked with a bright smile on my face. "I was busy"she replied. "Pls lets go and see Baba now,I have things to do in the kitchen"she continued bluntly. "Akos...did I do something wrong? "I asked. "No..no...I never said you did."she replied. "Really?so why did u bluntly answer me when I asked where you were  the whole of yesterday?"I asked. "Sorry...can we go now?"she said calmly. "Nope...Am not going anywhere."I replied. "Ah,Baba has to give you this treatment to speed  up your recovery. U need it...let's..let's go la"she said with a bit of frustration slowly building up in her voice.
       "I want us to spend time together" I said. "Ah and is that important than your treatment?"she asked. "Are you comparing?because spending time with you is too expensive to be compared to anything else. Am glad ma love can afford your time. Am glad....very glad to see you here in ma room right now. Your presence can't be weighed monetarily. It is priceless. Because you are special beyond any reasonable doubt. And..." I said before she snapped in. "Pls...pls Manasseh let's not drag this. Lets just go to Baba for your treatment. Do this for me pls"She said. I didn't put up any retaliation to that. I just complied and with her aid went to Baba's medicine room.
   Akos seemed very different to me. She wasn't so open like she used to,towards me. I knew something was bothering her. And I believed I was the cause.
